RUN AND DINE YOUR WAY AROUND THE CITY WITH MIDNIGHT RUNNERS AND BLOOMBERG ARCADE
"Launching this September, this monthly run club involves a 5k run hosted by volunteer-led global running community Midnight Runners (which specialises in social workouts that get people exploring their areas in 16 major cities worldwide) that finishes with a meal at one of the restaurants in the City's foodie hub Bloomberg Arcade - there's nothing like the promise of a tasty reward to motivate you during your workout."
"Each run starts in Bloomberg Arcade and follows a bespoke 5km route across the City, taking in iconic landmarks like St Paul's and Tower Bridge as well as some secret and hidden spots in the area, so it's as much about exploration as it is fitness. The runs end back in Bloomberg Arcade and then it's onto a fun group dinner at one of the resident restaurants."
"The series is kicking off on 25th September with a 3-course set menu dinner and glass of wine at wine bar Vinoteca, with a menu that includes: grilled halloumi & heritage tomato salad crispy beef bites & harissa aioli crab & prawn lasagne with fennel & radish salad grilled pork chop with roast potatoes & coleslaw baked vanilla custard tart & strawberries roasted nectarines with green apple sorbet & honey"
The monthly series pairs a 5km volunteer-led run with a pre-booked meal at Bloomberg Arcade restaurants. Each run starts and finishes in Bloomberg Arcade and follows bespoke routes across the City, taking in landmarks such as St Paul's and Tower Bridge and revealing secret local spots. The inaugural event on 25 September includes a three-course set menu and glass of wine at Vinoteca with several starter, main and dessert options. Later dates offer limitless wood-fired pizza at Homeslice on 23 October and a morning run with breakfast at Lina Stores on 18 November. Each event hosts up to 100 participants and costs £35, including secure bag drop.
