"The New York Road Runners (NYRR) United Airlines NYC Half Marathon is a true bucket-list event. Starting in Brooklyn, it is the only race where participants get to run across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. The 13.1-mile course continues through Times Square (during a rare traffic closure) and finishes in scenic Central Park. Due to high demand, the race is extremely difficult to get into through its drawing system."
"Accepted runners were notified of their entry status earlier this month, but if you weren't one of the lucky few, there's still another opportunity available for Runner's World+ members to join in on the fun this March. We're offering the chance to receive one of four guaranteed race entries, the possibility to be featured in Runner's World, plus all of the benefits below that you receive as a member:"
The NYRR United Airlines NYC Half Marathon starts in Brooklyn and uniquely includes a run across the Brooklyn Bridge. The 13.1-mile course passes through Times Square during a rare traffic closure and finishes in Central Park. High demand makes entry difficult through the race drawing, and accepted runners were already notified. Runner's World+ members have a separate opportunity to be considered for one of four guaranteed entries, potential feature coverage, and membership benefits. Interested RW+ members must sign in and complete a survey by December 5 to be considered, and non-members can sign up to participate.
