A set of Ruby on Rails app templates has been updated and made Rails 8.1 compatible. An interactive shell script enables template selection. All templates are consolidated into a single repository with shared code and no git submodules. Three starter templates are provided: a REST API, a minimal setup (importmaps + Tailwind), and an esbuild + Tailwind option. Basic setup includes tests, linters, and system gems. Planned additions include DB encryption with Lockbox, custom authentication generators, an admin panel option, BI tools, and Inertia templates for Svelte and React. Feedback and suggestions are welcome.
