Savage labeled Owens a Black racist, called her claims lies, and warned that her allegations could provoke violence against Jewish people. Savage accused Owens of using a method to attract followers by assembling mismatched pieces and advancing debunked claims about threats from Jewish-American activist Bill Ackman. Savage argued that if Israel were capable of killing Kirk, it would also be capable of killing Owens, and urged her to stop spreading rhetoric that echoes historical antisemitic tropes.
