Kai Schwemmer was appointed as the political director of the College Republicans of America on March 5. He has connections to white supremacist Nick Fuentes and has made numerous bigoted statements. Schwemmer's past videos include homophobic claims about gay men and their influence in gyms. The CRA has not apologized for his hiring, dismissing concerns from the public. In debates, Schwemmer expressed opposition to gay marriage, supported forced childbirth for rape victims, and advocated against universal suffrage, promoting a family voting system favoring men.
