"Eh, millions of people that follow you. What does that mean? I mean, do they go out and Sieg Heil? I mean, come on. I got two kids in their 20s. They don't have anything to do with this guy. They know who he is. I just don't see it as a social problem. Now, maybe it will develop into one, but I doubt it. The problem is exploiting a guy like Fuentes. Now there you get into, Well, if I put him on the show, I'm gonna get high ratings. Most American broadcasters will not do that. They won't. I won't put him on because I don't want to insult my audience."
"Now this guy couldn't stand up to me for two minutes because I know what the Third Reich And again, I go back to Confronting Evil [O'Reilly's book]. You want to know how evil that was? You read the book. Is Fuentes going to read the book? He's not. O'Reilly concluded, I won't put anybody on my program that I think is a charlatan, that I think is manipulating the system, because that is insulting my audience, and that's the category in which he fits."
Bill O'Reilly stated that he will not put Nick Fuentes on his program and questioned the significance of Fuentes' followers. O'Reilly suggested millions of viewers do not necessarily indicate dangerous influence and said his own children are unaffected. He warned against exploiting Fuentes for ratings, noting many broadcasters avoid giving Fuentes a platform due to corporate decisions. O'Reilly asserted Fuentes could not hold up in a debate, referenced his book Confronting Evil and the Third Reich to contrast gravely evil history with Fuentes' behavior, and labeled Fuentes a charlatan manipulating the system.
