'Fox & Friends' Host Steve Doocy Tearfully Reveals Major Change to On-Air Role-as He Gets Set to Quit New Jersey to Move to Florida
Briefly

Steve Doocy, a longtime host of 'Fox & Friends', has announced he will step away from full-time hosting to move to Florida. After years of waking up at 3:30 AM for the commute from New Jersey to Manhattan, the 68-year-old feels it is time for a change. Despite this transition, he assures fans he will continue to appear on the show from his new location. His departure surprised both colleagues and viewers, marking the end of an era on the iconic show he helped launch in 1998.
He explained, 'After decades of getting up at 3:30 and driving into NYC in the dark, today is the last day I will host the show ... from the couch.'
Doocy admitted that he is looking forward to sleeping in and not having to make the drive from his New Jersey home to the office.
