Passenger flirts with pilot on Frontier flight- and was stunned by his reaction: 'People think I'm making it up'

Tanya Pidgorodetskiy, a 25-year-old from Ohio, shared her romantic experience with a pilot named Wesley through viral TikTok videos. Their story began at an airport where she noticed him looking at her. Coincidentally, they were on the same Frontier flight, leading to a sweet interaction before landing. Just 20 minutes before touchdown, Wesley tapped Tanya on the shoulder to deliver a note asking her out, offering his phone number. Pidgorodetskiy later discovered he had never done something like this before, bolstered by encouragement from flight staff.

"Every time I tell the story people think I'm making it up," Tanya Pidgorodetskiy shared in one of her TikTok videos, recounting her serendipitous encounter.

"I was sitting in a row towards the back, and 20 minutes before landing, I got a tap on my shoulder, and it’s that guy, and he handed me a napkin, and I was just so confused," Pidgorodetskiy recounted.

The message read: "Hi, I'm sure you get notes like this all the time, but I would love to take you out to dinner and get to know you."
