"Only 32 per cent of UK users use a height filter, compared to nearly 39 per cent of Dutch daters, making the Netherlands the pickiest market by far. British users also have the broadest height preferences, with half allowing a range of more than 40cm. It's not just height where Brits show flexibility. UK daters also travel further for first dates than anyone else, the longest recorded journey was a staggering 424km from Carlisle to London, while trips from Aberdeen to Manchester are also common."

Sunday is the most popular day to match (16%), while Tuesday most often hosts first dates. UK singles wait nearly 12 days between matching and dating; drinkers go on four times more dates than non-drinkers, and users open to or wanting children perform similarly in dating activity.
