Elliot Daly suffered a potential tour-ending injury in the victory over the Queensland Reds, with head coach Andy Farrell confirming he is being evaluated for a suspected broken arm. The British & Irish Lions are not in a full-back crisis as they have Blair Kinghorn and Hugo Keenan, but both have not played yet on this tour. Farrell expressed hope for Daly's recovery and indicated several other players could fill in at full-back if necessary. Team members, including Maro Itoje, praised Daly's talent and versatility as a player.
Daly's teammates, however, are also hoping for a miracle for a popular player on his third Lions tour who has featured in the past 11 Lions matchday squads.
It's hoped that both players will feature against the NSW Waratahs on Saturday, by which time Daly's prognosis will be clearer.
