Tulsa Home Prices Down in July
"The number of listings on the market grew 6.1% from last month, which is a smaller increase than normal for this time of the year in Tulsa, and homes are also selling close to the same pace as the same time last year. Typically, home price per square foot in Tulsa tend to rise in July. But the most recent data shows that the price per square foot decreased by 0.6% compared with the month before."
"In July, there were 1,131 homes for sale in Tulsa, which was 6.1% more than the month before and 11.7% more than the same time last year. Meanwhile, active inventory across the nation rose by 1.9% from last month to 1,102,787. The number of new listings in Tulsa was 528, which was 6.4% less than the month before and 5.6% more than the same time last year."
Home prices in Tulsa fell in July from the previous month, with a median listing price of $284,450. Active listings rose 6.1% month-over-month to 1,131 and were 11.7% higher than a year earlier. Price per square foot in Tulsa decreased 0.6% month-over-month while the national price per square foot fell 0.9%, indicating smaller local declines. New listings in Tulsa numbered 528, a 6.4% drop from the prior month but a 5.6% increase year-over-year. Average days on market in Tulsa were 51 in July, compared with a national average of 58 days.
