"I just needed a change, Davis said. Real estate is evolving. Either we're part of it, or we're not."

Glenn Davis is leaving Douglas Elliman to join Ryan Serhant's brokerage and is launching the New York Collaborative Team with seven agents. The move follows Davis's merger last year with Noble Black and comes about a month after Black left Elliman with ten agents to return to Corcoran. Noble Black & Partners ranked fourth in The Real Deal's NYC resale rankings with $162 million in sales and 13th among new-development brokers with $92 million. Davis praised Serhant's platform, commended Elliman's leadership and CEO Michael Liebowitz, and said he needed a change.
