Stellar MLS, Rhode Island's State-Wide MLS announce data share
"Our reciprocal MLS access agreement with State-Wide MLS is a win for real estate professionals, the consumers they serve, and ultimately, the industry as a whole, Merri Jo Cowen, the CEO of Stellar MLS, said in a statement. It enhances mobility between the two regions, whether customers have clients relocating, purchasing a second home or investing out of state. Through this agreement, State-Wide MLS subscribers can now search and view listings entered into both the Stellar and State-Wide systems without the need for additional memberships."
"We are thrilled with this partnership opportunity, Philip Tedesco, the CEO of State-Wide MLS, said in a statement. Rhode Island has many residents spending a lot of time in Florida, so reciprocal MLS access with Stellar MLS makes a lot of sense for us. Last month, Stellar MLS announced that it had entered into a reciprocal data share agreement with Miami Association of Realtors. This announcement came after Stellar announced additional agreements with Bright MLS and Georgia's First Multiple Listing Service (FMLS)."
Reciprocal MLS access between Stellar MLS and State‑Wide MLS allows subscribers to search and view listings entered into both systems without requiring additional memberships. The agreement provides access to over 326,000 listings spanning 11 states and territories and 17 countries outside the U.S. The arrangement enhances agent mobility for clients relocating, purchasing second homes, or investing out of state. Reciprocal access addresses regional ties such as Rhode Island residents spending significant time in Florida, improving service continuity across markets. The agreement builds on Stellar MLS’s recent reciprocal data shares with Miami Association of Realtors, Bright MLS, and Georgia's FMLS.
