Nationally, the number of new listings fell by 14.1% from last month to 330,908."
Median listing price in Milwaukee rose slightly in November to $238,400. Inventory on the market fell 2.4% month-over-month to 997 homes, representing a 5.4% increase from the same time last year. Price per square foot in Milwaukee decreased 1.6% from the prior month, a larger decline than the national 1.2% drop. New listings totaled 352, down 23.8% from the previous month but up 3.5% year-over-year. Homes spent an average of 37 days on the market, six days longer than the prior month and three days longer than a year earlier. National active inventory and new listings also declined.
