Construction has employed more than 3,700 workers with plans to reach 5,000, and the data center will add about 500 long-term jobs. The project includes a planned $10 billion facility covering over 4 million square feet. Utilities planned three new natural gas plants near the site at a reported cost of $3 billion to meet energy demands. Hyperscalers are racing to lock up land, power, and financing for large AI campuses.
