Julian Lynch Departs Real Estate Ahead of Atlas Anniversary Tour

Julian Lynch is leaving Real Estate and will not join the band's upcoming 11 year and seven month anniversary tour. He wrote that he is grateful to have spent most of the last decade creating, performing, and traveling with his friends in the band. Next week's brief leg of touring with Tennis will be his final shows with Real Estate before he moves on to other projects. Lynch joined Real Estate after founding guitarist Matt Mondanile was fired in 2016 amid allegations of sexual misconduct. He played on several Real Estate records, released a solo album in 2019, and the band issued a rarities compilation, The Wee Small Hours, earlier this year.
