"Continue to hate,"
"You know, people only talk about winners. I'm a winner. So, continue to talk."
"I'm financially set, and I want to let everybody know this,"
"Every property that I have is paid for. My jet is paid for. All my cars is paid for. I own billion-dollar buildings."
Floyd Mayweather displayed stacks of cash on a private jet and boasted about winning and wealth. He retired from boxing in 2017 with a 50-0 record and earned more than $1 billion, ranking among the highest-paid athletes. He cultivated a lavish lifestyle with Bugatti cars, Richard Mille watches, Gucci clothing, and opulent mansions. He publicly insisted that his properties and assets were paid off. Public records show he took out millions in mortgages last year and faced lawsuits and liens for a Mercedes Maybach G-Wagon, jet fuel, and garbage collection at his Las Vegas mansion. He formed a real estate firm and promoted plans to buy commercial property in New York starting fall 2024.
