The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas allocated $73.5 million in Affordable Housing Program grants to 53 projects across Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas. Grants will fund construction or rehabilitation of more than 3,700 housing units, including rental, owner-occupied and transitional housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Each year FHLB Dallas allocates at least 10% of its profits to these grants, with awards up to $1.75 million per project. State allocations include $45.64 million for Texas (2,671 units), $10.94 million for Louisiana (412 units), $6.68 million for Arkansas (267 units), $5.43 million for New Mexico (227 units), $3.35 million for Mississippi (140 units) and $1.5 million for Colorado (60 units).
