"I've been to the Paradise Cove Luau five times, with visiting family, out-of-town friends and even co-workers on a work retreat. Set in Ko Olina on Oahu's west side, it's one of Hawaii 's famous entertainment destinations for first-time visitors - a place where the sunsets are extraordinary, the Hawaiian food is plentiful, the mai tais strong and the crowd loud."
"Landowner James Campbell Company is closing the luau so it can move forward with a redevelopment of the 11-acre Ko Olina property, just a short distance north of the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina and the Disney Aulani Resort & Spa. James Campbell Company has plans to turn the land into a gathering space for locals and visitors, called the Cove. The complex is slated to include entertainment, three restaurants, and retail shops, as well as an oceanfront performing arts amphitheater"
Paradise Cove Luau will close on Dec. 31, 2025 after 47 years of operation. James Campbell Company is redeveloping the 11-acre Ko Olina site into the Cove, a gathering space for locals and visitors. The Cove is planned to include entertainment, three restaurants, retail shops and an oceanfront performing arts amphitheater intended to host a new nightly commercial luau and daytime programming. Paradise Cove served generations of local families and visitors for celebrations such as birthdays, weddings and graduations and was known for dramatic sunsets, plentiful Hawaiian food and strong mai tais. The closure joins other longtime Hawaii institution shutdowns marking an era's end.
