
CoStar Group will acquire Zonda, a provider of new-home construction data, homebuilder software, and residential real estate marketplaces, for $800 million in cash. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026 and is expected to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share in its first full year. Zonda serves more than 3,000 customers across the homebuilding ecosystem, including major builders, developers, suppliers, and lenders in North America. Its platform supports the full lifecycle of new-home development, from land acquisition and construction forecasting to community marketing and online marketplaces, tracking more than 500 housing metrics. CoStar has built a broad real estate information platform through more than 40 acquisitions totaling about $7.3 billion, covering commercial, multifamily, residential resale, and spatial data.
