Carlson Says REMAX Is winning the decade' at R4
"Every day we wake up thinking about three things; helping you win more listings, doing it in less time and making more money. That's our purpose, a North Star, if you will. It definitely defines this new chapter at REMAX. It's our job. We are leaning in, and we are moving forward with a clear goal of being number one in every single market."
"This team pushed through the noise. You kept producing, because that's what REMAX professionals do. We are a team that wins in any market, and fortunately, this year should be a better market. The new direction resonates with productive people, and it's leading to growth. More and more entrepreneurs are attracted to it."
REMAX reported mixed financial results for 2025, with net income rising to $8.2 million from $7.1 million despite annual revenue falling 5.2% to $291.6 million. Fourth-quarter performance showed revenue decline of 1.8% to $71.1 million and quarterly net income dropped significantly to $1.4 million. Agent count reached 148,660 globally, up 1.4% year-over-year, driven by international growth of 7.9% to 75,683 agents. However, U.S. agent count declined 6.1% to 48,165 agents, and Canada dropped 1.4% to 24,812 agents. Leadership emphasized resilience through market challenges and focused on core value proposition: helping agents win more listings in less time while earning more money. Major brokerage conversions, including a Hawaii acquisition of 170 producers and six offices, demonstrated growing appeal to entrepreneurs.
