Alec Baldwin relists mayonnaise' Hamptons mansion for $21 million
"The sprawling Hamptons estate owned by Alec Baldwin is back on the market for a noticeable price increase. The Emmy Award winner has relisted his Amagansett mansion for $21 million, about $2 million more than he was seeking last year, according to Mansion Global. Baldwin, 67, has been trying to sell the property described as boring and compared to mayonnaise by comedian Dan Mahboubian Rosen for more than three years."
"The five-bedroom beach getaway was first listed for $29 million in November 2022. It was later taken off the market then relisted for $19 million, before being taken off the market again in July 2024. Baldwin first purchased the five-acre property for $1.75 million in 1995. Following numerous updates and additions, the 10,000-square-foot estate now boasts a movie theater, wine-tasting room and wood-paneled library, while outside is a custom-built gunite pool and hot tub."
"I fell in love with this place the moment I came here, the 30 Rock star said in a YouTube video promoting the listing in January 2024. You just can't get this out here anymore. You can't buy big pieces of land, especially in Amagansett. I'm always happiest when I come here, especially this time of year, he added. I love it in the wintertime. It's so peaceful and it's so beautiful."
Alec Baldwin relisted his Amagansett Hamptons estate for $21 million, about $2 million higher than the previous asking price. The five-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot property sits on five acres and has cycled on and off the market since a $29 million listing in November 2022. Baldwin purchased the land in 1995 for $1.75 million and expanded the home through updates and additions. The estate features a movie theater, wine-tasting room, wood-paneled library, custom-built gunite pool and hot tub. Baldwin and his family use the home seasonally, and the property remains a prominent asset alongside other Baldwin residences.
