Madrid's Alonso: Ceballos stays, transfers done
Briefly

Real Madrid's transfer activity appears to be complete for the summer window. The club brought in Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, Álvaro Carreras and Franco Mastantuono earlier in the window. Midfielder Dani Ceballos will stay at the club after a near move to Marseille stalled while awaiting interest from Real Betis. Ceballos featured heavily last season but has played only four minutes in two league games this campaign, and his role at the club will remain unchanged. Forward Rodrygo has been commended for playing on the left wing and creating one-on-one opportunities.
I wouldn't want to get caught out, so until the market closes, we're always watchful, but it looks that way.
I knew about [the Marseille move], and in the end it's turned out the way it has. Nothing changes, Dani stays here, and I'm happy.
It's better if he gives details of what happened, but the decision is definitive. He'll have the same role, it doesn't change my vision of him.
