"Convex: The Database Designed for AI Coding In the age of code generation, you need a backend that you can confidently generate with AI platforms. Convex is by far and away best in class in this respect. This is because Convex is just TypeScript, allowing you to write queries as code that are automatically transactional, cached, and realtime. And that's just the beginning. With Convex, you can: Try a Quickstart today"
"<ViewTransition> is now available in Canary and lets you animate elements that update inside a Transition, also supporting Shared Elements Transitions. It currently only works in the DOM, but they are working on adding support for React Native and other platforms <Fragment ref={...}> is now available in Canary and provides a new way to compose platform behaviors by exposing an imperative API to manipulate the children nodes of the Fragment"
React Conf presented live announcements covering core React features, React Native, and frameworks across two conference days. React 19.2 features received an overview alongside several exclusive conference announcements. <ViewTransition> is available in Canary to animate elements updating inside a Transition and supports Shared Elements Transitions; it currently works only in the DOM with planned React Native and other platform support. Fragment ref is available in Canary and exposes an imperative API to manipulate Fragment children nodes, enabling composition of platform behaviors. The React Foundation, hosted under the Linux Foundation, will become the new home for React, React Native, and JSX with independent technical governance. Convex is positioned as a TypeScript-first backend enabling transactional, cached, and realtime queries and developer features like scheduled functions, file storage, and efficient server functions.
