Version 3.20 of reader introduces a redesigned web app built with htmx and Bootstrap. Only the main page was completed but it is used personally and marks plans for further work. The project infrastructure was modernized: GitHub Actions publish releases to PyPI, contributor docs and run.sh were rewritten for readability, and development dependencies use dependency groups. The entry_dedupe plugin was effectively rewritten, adding many data-driven heuristics (by title, link, timestamp, prefix-stripped title), better approximate content matching, an extensive test suite, and extensive internal documentation.
