EuroPython 2026 in Kraków is preparing a detailed conference schedule and will release it soon. Session and speaker lists are already available for review through the conference’s sessions and speakers pages. The event also includes Language and Rust summits that bring together contributors during the conference. Both summits are invite-only with limited venue capacity, so registration is required. The Python Language Summit gathers developers of Python implementations to share information, address shared problems, and seek consensus on topics such as the language, standard library, development process, Python 3.15 and plans for 3.16, documentation, packaging, and the website. The Rust Summit focuses on integrating Rust with the Python ecosystem and building high-performance Python tools and native extensions using technologies like PyO3 and Maturin.
"Summits are an opportunity for project contributors to come together during EuroPython. These are invite-only events with limited capacity at the venue, so registration is required."
"The Python Language Summit is an event for the developers of Python implementations (CPython, PyPy, MicroPython, GraalPython, IronPython, and so on) to share information, discuss our shared problems, and - hopefully - solve them. These issues might be related to the language itself, the standard library, the development process, the status of Python 3.15 (and plans for 3.16), the documentation, packaging, the website, and so forth. The Summit focuses on discussions and consensus-seeking, more than merely on presentations."
"This full-day summit is dedicated to exploring the intersection of Rust and the Python ecosystem. Attendees can expect an intensive schedule focused specifically on integrating Rust into Python projects and the development of high-performance Python tools (e.g., using technologies like PyO3, Maturin, or writing performant native extensions)."
