"Halloween safety tips Saratoga Neighborhood Watch groups are reminding parents and children to stay safe on Halloween night with a handful of tips. They remind drivers to slow down, stay alert and watch for trick-or-treaters crossing the streets. Parents are also advised to choose costumes with reflective materials, provide flashlights or glow sticks and ensure that masks and other accessories don't block their child's vision. Children are encouraged to walk in groups and use sidewalks whenever possible. Neighbors can also help out by keeping walkways well-lit and cleared of hazards."
