Potential exposures occurred at Logan Terminal B (2:30–4:45 p.m. Dec. 11), the DoubleTree in Westborough (3:30 p.m. Dec. 11–9 p.m. Dec. 12), and Logan Terminal C (6–11:30 p.m. Dec. 12). Measles is extremely contagious, airborne, and can linger up to two hours. Symptoms typically appear 10–14 days after exposure, begin with cough, high fever, runny nose, and red, watery eyes, and are followed by a red, blotchy facial rash; infectiousness spans four days before to four days after rash onset. High‑risk groups include children under five, adults over 20, pregnant people, and immunocompromised individuals; complications can include diarrhea, ear infections, and pneumonia.
