"Posters can address what the student artists do to prevent water pollution or what they love about their local waterways. Artwork will be judged on originality, clarity and expression of the theme. First- and second-place winners in three age bracketsgrades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8will be awarded $250 and $150, respectively. The winning posters will be featured on social media to promote water pollution prevention."

Donors must be healthy with no cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, eat and drink before donating, bring photo ID, and be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent). Appointments or walk-ins are available via stanfordbloodcenter.org, phone or text. Watershed Watch is accepting Earth Day poster entries from K-8 Santa Clara County students to promote water pollution prevention; prizes of $250 and $150 will be awarded in three age brackets. Submissions are due by 5 p.m. March 16.
