An open house at the Cupertino Senior Center on Aug. 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. will inform seniors about classes, activities, and available resources. Activities include a mixer with staff and information on social events, fitness classes, and trips. In September, Cool Hikes Bay Area Older Adults offers outdoor events including a two-mile bird watching walk at Shoreline Lake Park on Sept. 10 and a cleanup event on Sept. 18 along the Guadalupe River with volunteers provided tools and meals. Participants can also join an expert-led walk at Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge on Sept. 24.
