Alexander's mother, Victoria, stated that carrying him and his younger brother up the stairs multiple times a day has left their family exhausted.
The family expressed frustration because they cannot frequently visit the playground, which they enjoy, due to the broken lift.
Victoria mentioned the challenges of managing heavy equipment, saying, 'chunky pieces of equipment and unfortunately we can't get them up the stairs'.
Eric emphasized the family's predicament, saying they are effectively trapped in their flat due to a lack of a functioning lift and complications selling their property.
