Ping Identity launches Just-in-Time access security
Briefly

Ping Identity has launched new Just-in-Time Privileged Access capabilities that provide real-time cloud access based on zero trust principles, moving away from traditional vault-based PAM systems. This advanced functionality integrates seamlessly with Ping's existing identity solutions and offers a holistic identity security package. All authentication to resources is passwordless, removing reliance on static credentials and enhancing security. The system ensures compliance with regulations by providing session recordings and audit logs, and is designed to support both cloud and on-premises infrastructure effectively.
Ping Identity has introduced Just-in-Time Privileged Access functionality that enables real-time cloud access aligned with zero trust principles, replacing traditional vault-based PAM systems.
All authentication to resources like SSH, RDP, and IAM is passwordless, eliminating the need for static credentials and significantly reducing the risk of credential theft.
The system provides session recordings and audit logs for compliance with regulations such as SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS, ensuring secure privileged access.
The new capabilities are offered through PingOne Privilege, derived from the acquisition of Procyon, a startup focused on streamlined privileged access for cloud and on-premises systems.
