"Remove from Toolbar"
Firefox will include a built-in, browser-confined VPN that routes web traffic through Mozilla-managed servers to hide users' real IP addresses and encrypt communications. The feature is experimental and will enter limited desktop beta testing with randomly selected users who must register a Mozilla account. The VPN interface will appear beside the search bar and will default to the server location that offers the best performance, so US users will default to US servers. The free Firefox VPN is separate from the paid Mozilla VPN. Users can opt out, remove the toolbar icon, and re-enable the feature via Add-ons and Themes. Mobile support is a planned next step.
