Developer of VeraCrypt encryption software says Windows users may face boot-up issues after Microsoft locked his account | TechCrunch

Without resolution, many devices using VeraCrypt may soon be unable to boot. While updates for Linux and macOS users remain unaffected, Windows users currently cannot receive updates. Idrassi reassured users that VeraCrypt will continue to function without identified security issues.
