Doctors Imaging Group experienced a November 2024 cyberattack that resulted in theft of sensitive data belonging to 171,862 patients. Stolen information included admission dates, financial account numbers and types, patient account and medical record numbers, health insurance details, medical treatment and claim information, names, addresses, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers. The company completed its investigation on August 29 and notified the Department of Health and Human Services, federal law enforcement, and regulators. The company advised patients to monitor financial statements for fraud or identity theft and is reviewing policies and cybersecurity tools to reduce future risk.
