The Promenade of Mermaids is a Sacramento tradition since 2012, celebrating merfolk culture with a parade and festivities. The event is free and family-friendly, taking place on May 15th from 4 PM to 7 PM. Participants are encouraged to wear nautical or sea-themed costumes. Activities include a Flash Mob dance, vendor shopping, face painting, and a bubble show. The parade starts at 6 PM, led by Medusaronin, followed by a dance party. The event concludes at 7:30 PM.
