At Kim Deal's 2025 tour stop in London on June 20th, the frontwoman of The Breeders invited Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl to perform a rendition of Pixies' "Gigantic." This collaboration marks one of several occasions where the duo has performed together. Grohl brought a light-hearted spirit, jokingly offering to sing whatever Deal requests. In addition to this performance, Deal has several upcoming festivals, and both artists have recently released new albums. Kim Deal's solo debut, "Nobody Loves You More," and Foo Fighters' "But Here We Are" highlight their ongoing contributions to the music scene.
On Friday night (June 20th), the Foo Fighters frontman joined the former Pixies bassist onstage at Roundhouse in London. Deal and Grohl have performed this track together a handful of times over the years.
Before launching into their rendition Grohl joked, "I'll sing whatever you ask me to sing. I'll do whatever you ask me to do," while Deal laughed along.
Kim Deal will appear at a handful of festivals this summer and early fall, including at Newport Folk Festival, Ohana Festival, and the free Washington-based CHOMP! Festival.
Kim Deal released her debut solo album Nobody Loves You More last year. Foo Fighters released their 11th album But Here We Are in 2023.
