April features exhibitions that explore themes of renewal and regrowth. Well Well Projects in Portland presents 'Born Remembering,' while Blackfish Gallery showcases 'The Verdant Hour.' One Grand Gallery's 'Where Roots Refuse Borders' examines the relationship between humans and nature. In Eugene, the Maude Kerns Art Center invites contemplation on environmental regrowth. A community printmaking circle hosted by Marie Watt on April 18th at the Oregon State Capitol offers a chance for collaboration and artistic expression. The month also includes a memorial show for an artist who passed away, featuring works from 1970 to 2026.
