Shaedon Sharpe, the Portland Trail Blazers' second-leading scorer, was diagnosed with a stress reaction of the left fibula after follow-up imaging revealed the injury beyond his initial left calf strain. The 22-year-old guard had already missed six games due to the calf strain sustained during a game against Memphis. The team estimates a four-to-six week recovery period before Sharpe can begin progressive return to full basketball activity. Sharpe averages 21.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists this season in his fourth year with the franchise.
