Jason Daly Scoops Third Career WSOP Bracelet With Omaha Win - Poker News
Jason Daly won the 2026 WSOP $1,500 Omaha eight-or-better event with 828 entries, taking first for $191,362. The victory marked his third career bracelet and his second Omaha win, following a $2,500 mixed Omaha eight-max win last summer. Daly’s latest title was the third-largest score of his career, bringing his recorded tournament earnings above $1.9 million, including nearly $1.1 million from 39 WSOP cashes. He earned 912 Card Player Player of the Year points, his second title and third final-table finish of 2026 so far, and now has 1,356 total points just outside the top 150 in the POY standings. The event ran three days at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, producing a $1,099,170 prize pool with 126 paid finishers. Notables finishing deep included Ryan Bambrick (10th), Tyler Phillips (11th), Valentin Vornicu (15th), Michael Noori (35th), Esther Taylor (39th), and Justin Liberto (49th).
"“I love this game. People do make a lot of mistakes, like playing for half of the pot when you should be having half of the pot locked up. You can notice a lot of mistakes in others doing that,” Daly told PokerNews live reporters after scooping the final pot."
