Dublin lotto player wins 3.7m lotto jackpot over the weekend
A Dublin player won a €3,731,996 jackpot on Saturday night by matching all six lotto numbers with an online “Quick Pick” ticket purchased on May 23. The winning numbers were 8, 12, 24, 25, 33, and 45, with a bonus number of 41. The winner has not yet been identified and has received a phone notification and an email instructing them to contact the National Lottery’s prize claims team. Over 73,000 players won prizes in the same draw. The National Lottery also reported that nearly 30% of every €1 spent on its games is donated to charities supporting sport, youth, health, welfare, and the Irish language, with €239.3 million raised for local charities last year.
""In total, over 73,000 players won prizes in the lotto draws on Saturday night. We're urging all of our players to check their National Lottery accounts today - they could be our next millionaire." Close to 30 pc in every €1 spent on National Lottery games is donated to charities in sport, youth, health, welfare and the Irish Language, according to Ms Monaghan."
