The sex trafficking trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs has sparked legal controversy, particularly following comments made by attorney Mark Geragos on his podcast. Geragos referred to the prosecution's all-women team as "a six-pack of white women," prompting Judge Arun Subramanian to verbally reprimand him for the remarks. The judge emphasized that such statements are unacceptable in any courtroom across the nation. Geragos, who represents Combs' mother, is not officially part of the case but has been present during jury selection. The judge's rebuke concluded with a humorous note about subscribing to the podcast.
"This is ridiculous," Judge Arun Subramanian said during a behind-closed-doors dressing down of Mark Geragos, who represents Combs' mother and has been seen huddling with the embattled hip-mogul's lawyers, a court transcript shows.
"I think referring to the prosecution in this case as a six-pack of white women is outrageous," Subramanian told Geragos, according to the transcript obtained by The Post.
"This would not be tolerated in any court from any lawyer anywhere across the nation," the jurist added to the veteran attorney.
"I'm going to be watching and I'm going to be listening. All right? You have one more listener for your podcast," the judge said.
