Time spent wandering the West Loop in downtown Chicago focused on photography led to experimentation with the limited capabilities of older iPhone cameras. This period encouraged creativity through various camera and editing apps. However, the transition to working from home and the limitations imposed by the COVID pandemic slowed this creative experimentation and exploration of photography.
When I worked in downtown Chicago and was figuring out what my next thing would be, I spent a lot of time wandering around the West Loop taking photos.
The iPhone's camera wasn't nearly as good in those days, but the constraints forced me to experiment.
I tried a lot of different camera and editing apps back then, too.
However, that slowed down when I started working from home and with the stay-at-home constraints of COVID.
