Legacy of Lies: Robert Nickelsberg on El Salvador
Briefly

Robert Nickelsberg, a veteran photojournalist, reveals his journey through conflict zones like El Salvador in his book "Legacy of Lies: El Salvador 1981-1984." His work includes many black-and-white images, some of which remained undeveloped for decades after being overshadowed by Time Magazine's shift to color. These previously unseen photos now provide a meaningful historical account and personal introspective for Nickelsberg. He shares insights about his experiences capturing the violence and turmoil of the era in a live Q&A event at the City College of San Francisco.
