"You guys are so quiet this year,"
"Chappell really started a movement!"
"You yelled at me at the Grammy party," Roan said at the time. "Yes, I remember. You were so rude to me. And I deserve an apology for that. You need to apologize to me."
Sabrina Carpenter noticed photographers were unusually quiet on the Grammys red carpet and credited Chappell Roan for the calmer atmosphere. Carpenter posed in a white lace dress and observed the silence, commenting that Roan had started a movement. Chappell Roan demanded an apology from a photographer at a 2024 Grammys after-party, calling the photographer "so rude" and "disrespectful" and insisting on an apology. Roan previously spoke out against rude photographers at the 2024 VMAs. The crowd briefly applauded before resuming quiet to photograph Carpenter, and photographers have since behaved more reservedly at events.
