"For the seventh straight year we will be partnering with Capture Photography Festival, Western Canada's largest lens-based art festival! Once again we will be curating a public art installation which will be mounted at the Olympic Village Canada Line Station in Vancouver. This is an international open call for photographers and artists making lens-based work. Last year, we selected Ning Cheng as the artist for our 2025 Capture Public Art Project-you can read our interview with her here."

Up to five works will be printed on 60/40 opacity vinyl across five glass columns with an accompanying didactic panel. The artist will receive approximately $775 CAD (final fee per 2026 CARFAC rates). Deadline for submissions is October 20, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST.
