The Newest Toledo Mud Hen Is A Purrfect Midseason Addition | Defector
Briefly

A frightened kitten was discovered during a Toledo Mud Hens game by Paige Lakovic, who quickly caught him. The calm kitten was handled by staff, appearing unafraid and relaxed. After the game, Lakovic, despite having moved to Toledo recently and leaving her cat at her parents’ house in Pittsburgh, decided to adopt the kitten, naming him Webley. The Mud Hens have a history with unusual animals at their home games, previously experiencing a rally possum incident.
He was so small. He really looked like a bunny. I was trying to get a look at him first before I just grabbed him.
He seemed scared, but not scared enough to be shaking or anything like that. We took him out and held him and he was so calm.
I had to take him home with me. I just knew I couldn't leave him. It was all also new, but I just knew.
The Mud Hens have recent experience with home field critters. Seven years ago a possum ran onto the field before the bottom of the 10th inning.
