Python reunited with family after being found nearly 50 miles away at In-N-Out
"On Monday, Sept. 29, an In-N-Out employee at the burger chain's newest Monrovia location east of Los Angeles discovered a nearly 4-foot-long ball python in the drive-thru. The snake was retrieved by Pasadena Humane, the nonprofit organization confirmed to SFGATE by email. Following the unusual discovery, the nonprofit put out a call on Facebook for clues. The post included images of the python and asked for the owners of the "well taken care of" animal to come forward."
""Vanessa and her family rushed to Pasadena Humane, bringing photos of Henny's unique 'alien-like' patterns. And against all odds, the snake in our care was an identical match," the Facebook post read in part. A spokesperson for Pasadena Humane told SFGATE that they are unsure how the snake journeyed from its San Bernardino home to Monrovia, but said they were happy to report that the python is back with its family."
On Monday, Sept. 29, a nearly 4-foot ball python was discovered in the drive-thru at In-N-Out's newest Monrovia location east of Los Angeles. Pasadena Humane retrieved the snake and posted images on Facebook asking for the owners to come forward. Online responses included concern and In-N-Out puns. By Wednesday, owners from San Bernardino contacted Pasadena Humane and identified the python as their missing pet, Henny, who had been missing since August after being spotted on a TV news segment. Pasadena Humane reported uncertainty about how the snake traveled nearly 50 miles but confirmed Henny was reunited with its family.
