Police officer, two others injured in Emeryville dog attack
"The Emeryville Police Department said it received numerous reports of dogs fighting at the Pak 'N Save Foods in the 3800 block of San Pablo Avenue around 8:50 a.m. Sunday. Callers said three of the canines were aggressive and attacking bystanders."
"Officers contacted the owner of the dogs and launched an investigation, police said, adding that they discovered two people had been bitten and required medical attention. One of the dogs then bit an officer on the leg, police said."
"A Taser was used to stop the attack and the officer was taken to an area hospital with moderate injuries. The dogs, meanwhile, were seized and taken to the Berkeley Animal Shelter for an evaluation."
The Emeryville Police Department responded to reports of dogs fighting at Pak 'N Save Foods on San Pablo Avenue around 8:50 a.m. Sunday. Three aggressive dogs were attacking bystanders, resulting in two people being bitten and requiring medical attention.
