A toddler was injured at ZooAmerica in Hersheypark after squeezing through a fence near a wolf enclosure. The parents, distracted by their cellphones, were about 25 to 30 feet away when the incident occurred. The child accessed a restricted area and was hurt after making contact with a wolf. Bystanders intervened to help the child. The parents, a 43-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man, were charged with endangering the welfare of children. Police emphasized the importance of parental supervision in such environments.
